Vellore: Nanini was released from Vellore jail on 30 days parole.

Nalini, 50, who was sentenced to life imprisonment in the murder case of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, is lodged in the Vellore Women’s Jail. On July 25, 2019, Nalini was granted 51 days parole for the marriage of her daughter Aritra. He was then staying at the house of a man in Sattuvachari Vallalar. Aritra was not married during Nalini’s parole.

Her mother Padma had filed a petition in the Chennai High Court seeking parole for her daughter Nalini as she was not feeling well. The Tamil Nadu government has ordered him to be given 30 days parole on the 23rd. The jail authorities took action along with the police to make practical arrangements for Nalini’s release on parole.

Nalini was released on parole from Vellore Women’s Prison at 9:00 am yesterday. Nalini is staying at her cousin Satyavani’s house in Katpadi Brahmapuram. He was taken away by the police with heavy security.

During her parole, Nalini was required not to meet politicians, not to give interviews to the media and to sign autographs at the Katpadi police station every morning at 10:00 am. Prison officials said he was granted parole because of this
