Guru Somasundaram, who played the villain in the superhero movie Minnal Murali, will be making his directorial debut in Mohanlal’s Burrows. The actor himself made this clear in an interview with India Glitz.
Guru Somasundaram said in an interview that he had spoken to Mohanlal a week before Minnal Murali’s release about acting in Burrows.
Guru said that Mohanlal is the most popular actor in Malayalam and I have seen his films like His Highness Abdullah, Uncle Bun and No. 20 Madras Mail in the theater.
Guru was a part of Koothupattarai, a famous theater troupe in Tamil Nadu. Guru Somasundaram made his film debut in 2011 with Aranya Kandam directed by Thyagarajan Kumararaja. In 2016, he got a lot of attention with his film Joker directed by Raju Murugan. Guru Somasundaram came to Malayalam as a photographer in the anthology film Anch Sundarikal.
