Malaria, HIV or cholera – sudden outbreaks of disease pose major challenges for medical structures. Epidemiologists like Anna Kühne from Doctors Without Borders therefore collect data to understand how quickly diseases spread and which people are particularly affected. In this role, she is primarily concerned with the causes and spread of disease outbreaks and the necessary health measures in each case. She supports our teams in the Central African Republic with her knowledge and reports on her work in our podcast.
