The singer Gabi Berlin passed away at the age of 80. Berlin, who started his career in the band of the Armored Forces in the 1960s, became from the end of the 1980s one of the figures most identified with the field of singing in the public.
Just a few days ago, Berlin, one of the oldest and most beloved Hebrew singers in the country, was surprised to receive the AM Award for Lifetime Achievement. Berlin served for many years on the executive board of the Israel Artists Union, thus contributing greatly to improving the status and rights of all of his fellow artists.
