Over the past decade, China has become Sub-Saharan Africa’s most important economic partner. In the field of trade, investment, infrastructure financing or development aid, no other country has such a broad commitment to the region. But sub-Saharan Africa is not a homogeneous reality, it is a region made up of fifty States, each with its unique idiosyncrasy, with different modalities of political and economic organization, with particular geographical and demographic circumstances, with different types of natural resources and with uneven levels of development. It is therefore worth asking: in which sub-Saharan African countries is China’s presence most evident? Which are the states that most attract the attention of investment and interests from Beijing? What is the Asian giant doing specifically? in this countries?
