This heart-pounding scene was recorded on June 26, in Ubon Ratchathani province, northeastern Thailand.
In the clip, a member of the medical team just picked up the bag when a snake curled up below suddenly rushed out. Before the appearance of the giant snake, the 3 men were scared and immediately ran away.
After regaining his composure, one of the team members used a pole with a noose and walked over catch the snake hiding under the table.
Medical officer Surachat Kimkliang said: “This is the snake we caught earlier, but it escaped from the cage. We forgot about it. When we saw the animal come out from under the bag, we was shocked”.
Surachat added that they were not looking for the snake, but when his colleague was cleaning up equipment to bring to work, the creature suddenly appeared.
The snake was then released back into its natural habitat.
