FNAC LIVE. The twelfth edition of the free Fnac Live Paris festival has been cut short. The third concert evening which was to conclude the festival this Friday, June 30, 2023 on the forecourt of the Paris City Hall is canceled.

Summary

[Mis à jour le 30 juin 2023 à 16h53] Fnac Live Paris 2023 will end before time. The new law enforcement system, put in place in the face of the riots that have affected France since the death of a teenager, Nahel M., killed by a police officer in Nanterre on Tuesday June 27, 2023, forced the authorities to cancel the last evening of the festival, according to BFM TV. The twelfth edition of this free festival was to conclude with a third concert evening on the forecourt of the Hôtel de ville in Paris.

Disiz, Selah Sue, Ofenbach or even Rounhaa were expected to conclude this festival, but the current riots have turned this program upside down. Other events of this type have suffered the same fate, such as the Mylène Farmer concerts scheduled for this weekend at the Stade de France.

Fnac Live 2023 programming

The poster for Fnac Live Paris 2023 was revealed on June 6. The organizers had unveiled the rest of the program for the free festival, which resumed its quarters at the Paris city hall from June 28 to 30. Ofenbach, Selah Sue, Saho de Sagazan, Adé, Hervé, Lujipeka, Charlotte Cardin, Aime Simone, or Agar Agar were the last artists announced.

So many artists who joined an already enticing programme, notably with Franz Ferdinand, Benjamin Biolay, Polo & Pan, Gabi Hartmann, Jason Glasser or Boombass with Etienne de Crécy and DJ Falcon. In total, about thirty concerts, free, were planned over three evenings. A winning recipe that welcomes around 80,000 festival-goers each year.
