In a surprising turn of events, a number of respected yeshivas have decided to join the training floor of the new committee for media affairs, known as “Bnei Torah”. The yeshivas that have joined the training floor include Orhot Torah, Torah in its splendor, Grodna Beer Ya’akov, Netiv Ya’ad (Kaplan), Or Yisrael, Beit Matatiyo, Beit Midrash High (Finkel), Yeshiva Karmiel, Ozam and Yehezkel Knesset (Ettinger).
Interestingly, the new venture has also attracted Sephardi yeshivas such as Read the Talmud, Take the Talmud, Basics, and more, which are expected to join soon. Hassidic yeshivas, including Toledot Avraham Yitzchak, Lublin, and Zweihel, have also shown interest in joining the new committee.
When questioned about their decision to go against the renewed committee led by the three councils, a source explained that the yeshiva leaders are following the path laid out by Maran Rosh Yeshiva, emphasizing that it is currently the best solution available. However, it is expected that a reevaluation will take place once the renewed committee is fully functional.
