Exclusive: Britney Spears’ Sons Will Decide Whether to See Her Before Move to Hawaii, Says Kevin Federline

July 3, 2023 – It has been well over a year since Britney Spears has seen her children, and it seems that timeline could get even longer. TMZ has learned that Kevin Federline, her ex-husband and father of their sons, will not force them to see their mother before their planned move to Hawaii.

Sources with direct knowledge have revealed that Sean Preston and Jayden will have the autonomy to make their own decisions regarding whether they will say their goodbyes to their mother before the move in August. As of now, the boys have not yet decided what they will do.

While Kevin is reportedly encouraging his sons to see Britney, he is not going to make the decision for them or force them to visit her if they are not up for it.

This news comes after Kevin’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, sent a letter to Britney’s lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, back in May. The letter inquired if Britney would be willing to let the boys relocate to Hawaii with Kevin and his wife, Victoria Prince.

Approval from Britney was crucial for the move to happen. Britney’s lawyer responded just days before the deadline, confirming that Britney would not fight the relocation and giving them the green light for the move to Hawaii.

Britney had taken to social media to express love for her sons after approving the move, even calling Sean Preston her “first love” in a post. She also shared a throwback picture of herself carrying a 4-year-old Jayden, possibly extending an olive branch before their departure.

The ongoing legal battle between Britney Spears and her conservatorship has sparked increased public interest in her personal life, including her relationship with her children. The pop star has been fighting for control over her life and finances, and her sons have become a focal point in the struggle.

As the move to Hawaii approaches, the question remains whether the boys will choose to visit their mother before embarking on their new chapter in a different state.
