Summer breaks out impetuously and every Cuban feels it on their skin and soul, but they will also be encouraged to enjoy it from July 1, when the so-called Summer with Love is officially inaugurated in all the municipalities of the province.
Although this time under the direction of Inder, the direction of culture will once again have a fundamental role in this artistic-recreational space that will last throughout July and August.
The Mirta Aguirre House of Culture, in Bauta, has already designed a program to accompany the slogan that defines these two warm months, but it wanted to extend the official phrase to make it closer to those interested and has decided to call it Summer with love… and smiles.
¨In each of our Popular Councils there will be an activity on July 1, we want each of them to receive the news that the summer cultural programming has arrived, we also want our programming to emphasize vulnerable neighborhoods or transformation¨, informed María González, director of the House of Culture.
For this first summer day, more action is planned in the neighborhoods of Las Margaritas, in Corralillo, and La Loma, in Playa Baracoa, where the Obbaniké group will perform, with activities in the rest of the Popular Councils, the performance of the My Heart Project en tus manos, directed by the clowns Cachito and Cachita, in the Popular Council of Pita and the sale of books and handicrafts in the Antonio Maceo library portal by the Chair of Visual Arts.
But, from the previous date, in the morning, the Chalk on the asphalt space will take place, much preferred among children, at six in the afternoon, in the Guerrero gallery, the Boomerang literary artistic promotion space will come to life , while in the town of Ven Tre amateurs will perform together with the artistic units of the Mártires de Tarará elementary school and, starting at eight thirty at night, the Mirta Aguirre House of Culture will host the event Dance with me.
Caimito prefers the sea
The Caimito choice to inaugurate summer on the 1st, at nine in the morning, has been the populous Playa El Salado, located on the north coast of this municipality in Artemisa.
