The Federal Accounting Council (CFC) announced the opening of enrollment for the 2nd Proficiency Exam of 2023, as provided for in Decree-Law No. 9,295/1946 and Law No. 12,249/2010. The public notice is now available and interested parties can register at examining board websiteuntil August 10, 2023.
Passing the Sufficiency Exam is a fundamental requirement to obtain professional registration with the Regional Accounting Councils (CRCs), as established by CFC Resolution No. 1,486/2015. The registration fee is R$70.00 and must be paid in a specific form, in favor of the CFC.
It is important to highlight that there is the possibility of requesting a waiver of the registration fee during the registration process, until July 5, 2023, following the guidelines specified in the announcement.
The Sufficiency Exam test is scheduled for September 24, 2023 (Sunday), from 10 am to 2 pm, according to Brasília/DF time. The evaluation will consist of an objective multiple-choice test, which will be applied in several cities in the country, as listed in Annex I of the announcement.
