PAT construction sites boost cement production

DIG/ Cement production in Gabon has started to rise again.

During the first quarter of 2023, the cement production index increased by 10% quarter on quarter.

According to the Ministry of the Economy, this increase is consecutive the good orientation of the order books, in connection with the continuation of the priority projects of the PAT, in particular the construction work of the Transgabonaise and the work to upgrade the railway.

But also, the start of the development of the airport bypass, urban roads, upgrading of the water supply network, etc.
