The agency wants to make the choice easier for consumers by highlighting some important requirements. Storing melons in the hot sun is also an unfavorable and incorrect practice for the preservation of flavors, as the process of deterioration becomes even faster in the fruit heated up in the heat. Furthermore, when buying halved melons, it is advisable to pay attention to the hygienic conditions.
It is advisable to buy peeled and cut melons only in places where the seller has the opportunity to wash his hands, the knife and the table are kept clean, and the melon halves are properly packed. It is worth knowing that melons that have been peeled but not bought cannot be put on the market again.
