Jonah Mathews leaves Villeurbanne for Besiktas

Villeurbanne announced on Wednesday that his American full-back Jonah Mathews had signed up for Turkish club Besiktas Istanbul in the Eurocup. Aged 25, Mathews (1.91m) arrived at Asvel in the summer of 2022 for a two-year contract from Anwil Wloclawek in Poland. With Villeurbanne, Jonah Mathews won the Leaders Cup.
