The deputies of the Legislative Assembly authorized a piece of land to the National Administration of Aqueducts and Sewers (ANDA) in the municipality of Jocoro, to improve the expansion of the water system in said place.
According to the Executive Branch, the land has a surface area of 400 square meters, it is located in the Llano de Santiago canton, in the municipality of EI Divisadero. Initially, 500 families will benefit and then coverage will be expanded to up to 900.
“Thanks to the Inter-Institutional Water and Sanitation Cooperation Program, one year ago, work began to improve the drinking water supply system of the municipality of Jocoro, department of Morazán,” said legislator Juan Rodríguez.
The works to improve and expand the drinking water system in the municipality of Jocoro are part of the Inter-institutional Water and Sanitation Cooperation Program between entities in the Basque Country and Central America.
