At least three dead in a Russian attack on a residential building in Lviv, in the far west of Ukraine

At least three people have died and another four have been injured, one of them seriously, in a attack by Russian forces on a residential building in the Ukrainian city of Lviv, in the west of the country, near the border with Poland.

The mayor of Lviv, Andrei Sadovi, has reported early in the morning that the emergency services have found three bodies under the rubblepredicting that this preliminary balance may increase in the coming hours.

“The street (…) will be closed until the emergency workers remove the rubble and remove all the dead,” he said after indicating that around 60 apartments and 50 cars have been damaged.
