Tricolor beat Palmeiras 1-0 this Wednesday (5), at Morumbi, and took the lead in the decision of the quarterfinals of the 2023 Copa do Brasil.
After the match, coach Dorival Júnior gave a press conference and evaluated the triumph in Choque-Rei.
“We were happy with the result, but there are 90 more minutes. The advantage is important, but not definitive. On the way back, we have to be aware that it will be a game from this level and up. We cannot change this behavior. It will be a high-risk game for both sides”, said the coach, who completed.
“I am very satisfied with what São Paulo has been presenting on my road here. We will need to play even more in the second leg, be very careful and also try to be an aggressive and competitive team. We have to be careful, because Palmeiras has a very strong team ”, he opined.
