The two big businessmen in the sector and rivals have reacted on social networks to the launch of the Meta network

Threads, Zuckerberg y Musk abc

Threads is already here. Meta, the company that owns Instagram and Facebook, announced at dawn this Thursday the birth of its new social network that comes to compete directly with Elon Musk’s Twitter. And the reactions on social networks from Musk himself and the owner of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, have not been long in coming.

While welcoming users to his new social network, the CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg ‘resurrected’ on Twitter after eleven years of absence with a well-known meme: that of a Spiderman pointing to another similar one.

Musk, for his part and as the leader of the network that seems to be the main objective and rival of Threads, has not issued any specific statement about his competition, but following his reactions and responses on Twitter, it has been possible to see his opinions on the matter.

To a user who wrote that “all your threads belong to us” along with a screenshot of the privacy conditions of Threads, the owner of Twitter responded with a laconic “yes” (“Yeah”, in English).

Another tweeter launched into a wry reflection on Threads: “My Facebook/Instagram social graph is basically all the people I knew in high school. ‘A place where you can read all the Twitter-like thoughts of the people you follow on Instagram’ sounds like a special hell.”

To which Elon Musk responded with a laughing emoticon.
