Honor has presented the Pad X9, a new mid-range tablet model with a good design and features, although it cuts a bit on the processor to offer it at an interesting price. The screen is 29.2 cm (11.5 in) type IPS with a resolution of 2000 × 1200 pixels. It has a 120 Hz refresh rate, covers 100% of the sRGB color scale and reaches 400 nits of maximum brightness.
The screen is flanked by two speakers on each side, and two more subwoofers at the bottom. The size of the tablet is 267.3mm × 167.4mm × 6.9mm with a weight of 499g. Its body is made entirely of aluminum with a “space gray” color according to Honor, so it cannot be more like the iPad.
The processor is a Snapdragon 685, that although it is from March of this year, it is actually like the Snapdragon 680 from a couple of years ago but with slightly raised frequencies. It includes 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
It has 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1. The battery is 7250 mAh with fast charging via USB type C. Both the front and rear cameras are 5 Mpx and ƒ/2.2, so it is not a model in which the photographic section is going to stand out. It comes with Android 13 pre-installed and the MagicOS 7.1 customization layer.
The price of this model in this 4+128 GB configuration is 250 euros. It will come with different accessories such as a case with support or a Bluetooth keyboard-case.
