Six residents of a retirement home died and many others were injured in the building fire, on the night of Thursday July 6 to Friday July 7 in Milan, in northern Italy.
The fire broke out shortly before two o’clock in the morning in a nursing home for the elderly in a working-class district in the center of the Lombard capital. “Six people died and many others were intoxicated. The municipality of Milan is seeking to relocate the dozens of evacuated residents to other nursing homes.
