See you in Gironde for the last four of the Top 14 next season. A few weeks ago, the National Rugby League (LNR) announced that the semi-finals of the French championship could not be played at the Pierre-Mauroy stadium in Lille.
Preparations for the basketball qualifiers and the handball finals for the Olympic Games (July 26 – August 11) were due to begin on June 25. Finally, the Paris 2024 organizing committee had asked to start work two weeks earlier, which forced the LNR to choose a new destination for the last four of its championship.
In retreat, the League surveyed Bordeaux and Marseille to host this event which will take place on June 21 and 22, 2024. And it is the first city mentioned which was finally selected, as in 2019.
