The list of members that will make up the new Regional Scientific Council for Research and Innovation (PSEK) of Epirus was approved by the regional council, adopting the proposal of the five-member committee, which had been appointed by a previous decision of the regional council.
From the table “Teachers A.E.I. and Researchers” regular members were chosen:
1. Anna Batistatou, Professor of Medicine, Rector of the University of Ioannina.
2. Savvas Christoforidis, Professor of the Department of Medicine and Director of the Biomedical Research Institute of Ioannina.
3. Stavroula Tsiara, Professor of Pathology.
4.Andreas Tzakos, Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry.
5. Alexandros Tzallas, Associate Professor, Department of Informatics and Telecommunications.
6. Marios Mataragas, Principal Researcher (from the Agricultural Products Technology Institute, Ioannina ELGO DIMITRA Dairy Department).
The panel also includes six other professors appointed as substitute members.
From the “Professionals” Table, Georgios Rogakos (product manager of NATECH SA), Dimitrios Gerogiannis (computer scientist), Ioanna-Efpraxia Parigoridis (chemist), Eleni Plachoura (civil engineer – entrepreneur) and Anastasios Koutlas (computer scientist/ Freelance).
The board includes five other professionals who were appointed as alternate members.
