Fort Worth, Texas – Two men have been arrested and are facing murder charges in connection with a mass shooting that occurred on Monday night in Fort Worth’s Como neighborhood. The shooting took place just before midnight, shortly after ComoFest, an annual Fourth of July party in the area.
During the event, hundreds of people congregated along Horne Street. However, at around 11:47 p.m., chaos ensued when an individual began shooting into the crowd. In the aftermath, eight people were injured, and tragically, three lost their lives.

Community members and leaders have organized a candlelight vigil, scheduled to take place on Friday night from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. The vigil will be held outside the downtown old courthouse at 100 E.
