Drugs, rifles and stolen cars: what the PM seized in 100 days of action against drug trafficking in SC

Launched on March 24, Operation Infinite 360, by PMSC (Military Police) completed 100 days in the first week of July. During this period, according to the corporation, drugs, weapons and stolen cars were seized. The operation also recorded more than 500 arrests in flagrante delicto and fugitives.

More than 10,000 police officers have already participated in the operation across the state. The action focuses on combating drug trafficking and organized crime. Check below the partial balance of the operation.

Prisons

513 people arrested in flagrante delicto; e161 fugitives captured.

Armas

77 weapons seized: four rifles, 29 pistols, 30 revolvers, 14 including carbines and shotguns and two “Rone kits”, an object that adapts a pistol into a submachine gun.

drugs

3.5 tons of marijuana; 805.3 kilos of cocaine; 1.1 kilos of crack; 466 grams of hashish; 18,622 ecstasy pills; 1,300 units of perfume spray; and 30 units of marijuana plants.

Vehicles

31 for robbery/theft; e372 for traffic violations and offenses.

Operation has no end date, says PM

According to the PMSC, the operation has no deadline to be finalized.

“We started the operation in March on a regional basis and have been expanding to the rest of the state. We used our technology and integration with the other Security Forces to achieve this success”, commented the General Commander of the PMSC, Colonel Aurélio José Pelozato da Rosa.

The “360” brand already alludes to the need to perceive and act in all directions necessary for the evolution and improvement of the institution, the police officers and the services provided to society in Santa Catarina.
