Copying is not considered particularly honorable. There was nothing honest about copying homework for geeks at school, and in retrospect it wasn’t even casual. It worked anyway.

Meta boss Mark Zuckerberg is also one of those who would rather copy than come up with something original – apart from his first big coup, inventing Facebook. The most recent example: the short message app Threads, which he uses to launch a frontal attack on Elon Musk’s Twitter platform.

It is not the first time that it has been shown that Zuckerberg’s tech empire is so financially superior that a lack of innovative spirit can be compensated quite adequately with a large amount of money – and with the unpretentious tendency to be completely open to one’s own lack of ideas.
