A number of minors are involved in an investigation into sexual offenses

Case in the south: The Ashkelon Magistrate’s Court allowed the publication that a police investigation is underway into sexual offenses and prohibited publications involving a number of minors from an educational institution in the south.

Ashkelon Magistrate’s President Alon Gavison said at the hearing: “At the end of my decision, I would like to add that the case under investigation is a difficult and shaky case, but no less sad. I would not be wrong to say that the education system has not been able to deal with the exposure that students have to sexual content on social networks, and it seems that sex is perceived by them in a distorted way, and there is no real response from the system. But we parents also have a responsibility in educating our children – what is allowed and what is forbidden, what is age-appropriate and what is not, and no less important – when to report abnormal and inappropriate behavior. ”

In recent days, regional high school students in the council in the south have been shutting down classes in protest of recent events there. While some of the events are banned from publicity, students and their parents claim to be covered up by the school and the council, and to hide what is going on under their noses.
