FGV has awarded the company Sopra Steria this project to assume the consultancy work that will culminate in the preparation of a digital transformation plan for the company, given the rise and development of new technologies and the digitization of processes.

This project will be developed in different phases, which start from the identification of specific objectives and thus establish the lines of action to lay the foundations for the transformation, manage and monitor the proposed digitization initiatives. The plan also includes change management and training plans, internal communication and disclosure of progress; trend analysis; and project coordination.

Reduction in the number of incidents

This process, which will serve to modernize FGV’s work systems, includes specific aspects such as digitizing train maintenance, optimizing response time and reducing the number of incidents.

In turn, the bases will be established to create an electronic administration platform and relationship with users, with the aim of facilitating access to the purchase of tickets, improving the use and interaction of the platforms, as well as communication through new channels for information on schedules and routes, among other issues.

In terms of energy, initiatives will be proposed aimed at improving the sustainability of the company’s operation, with a view to reducing the environmental impact of the services that FGV provides in Valencia and Alicante.
