Woman Found Safe After Disappearing from Nursing Home
ÖREBRO, Sweden — A woman who went missing from a nursing home on Sunday evening has been found safe and in good health. The search operation was launched immediately after she was reported missing around 19:00.
Initially, the police focused their search efforts in the area surrounding the residence, according to the officer on duty. However, as time passed, the search was expanded to central Örebro.
Concerns were raised about the possibility that the woman may have chosen to stay away from the facility, but the police confirmed that she was indeed missing at the time.
The search, which involved several of the police’s resources, finally resulted in a breakthrough when the woman was discovered on the west side of Örebro. Authorities expressed relief upon finding her safe and in good health.
“We are relieved that she has been found and that she is in good condition,” said the police spokesperson.
The specific circumstances surrounding the woman’s disappearance remain unclear. It is yet to be determined how she ended up on the west side of the city.
