Chennai: Annapoorni, who is embroiled in a controversy over a fake preacher, has lodged a complaint with the police, saying, ‘Action should be taken against those who make death threats in order to obstruct my spiritual training journey’.
Annapoorni, 41, of Thirumullaivayal, Chennai, lodged a complaint with the Commissioner of Police yesterday.
On the 19th of this month, I was planning to conduct a spiritual training class at a wedding hall in Chengalpattu district. Following this, mysterious persons are making death threats through ‘mobile phone, WhatsApp’ that I should not do spiritual service.
Threats are coming in to hinder my spiritual training journey. Thus, my spiritual service has suffered. The lives of me and my disciples are in danger from mysterious people. Legal action should be taken against those who spread slander and make death threats.
After the complaint, Annapoorni said: Some people call me a preacher and a fake preacher. I am not a preacher. I am only involved in spiritual work and training for it. I did not come suddenly; I have been involved in spiritual training for six years, ”he said.
