The announcement of the Festival host on Tg1: «Radio jury will replace opinion poll»
(LaPresse)-The singers competing in the 74th edition of the Sanremo Festival, scheduled from 6 to 10 February, “will be co-hosts of the Festival, they will introduce their colleagues”. This was announced by the artistic director and host of the Amadeus Festival on Tg1. Specifically “on Tuesday, in the early evening, you will listen to all the songs in the competition, while on Wednesday and Thursday the songs will be divided. The singers who will not sing on Wednesday will be co-hosts of the Festival and will present their colleagues – explained Amadeus – Thursday will happen the same thing in reverse”. On Friday, however, “the evening of covers is scheduled, where the singers will be accompanied by an artist – he concluded – They will be able to sing any song, national or international, and from any era, even their own, even until December 31, 2023”. In addition to televoting and press room voting, “there will be a radio jury that will replace the opinion poll”, the artistic director made known: “The jury made up of national, regional and local radios will have a very important role”, he added. The three voting systems will have a percentage weight on the overall result of the vote divided as follows: Televoting 34%: Press Room, TV and Web Jury 33%, Radio Jury 33%. (LaPresse)
