The World Para Athletics Championships began in Paris, a year before the Games, and will continue on Monday July 10 at the Charléty stadium. The day will notably see the men’s javelin throwing final in the F57 category.
The Lexi specialized site defines category F57 as one containing athletes with low, moderate limitation of movement in one leg, both feet, or absence of limbs. These athletes compensate for a significant asymmetry in leg power but have full upper body power.
