A man he was about to die this Monday in Monfortea choked in a restaurant with a piece of meat. If he is still alive, it is probably because an emergency doctor was in the dining room who began to give him cardiorespiratory resuscitation. It happened at noon in one of the restaurants in the center of this town in the Ribeira Sacra.

The event occurred shortly after two in the afternoon when the man was sitting at the table in the dining room of La Polar restaurant, located in the pedestrian section of Calle Cardenal.

Accompanied by two people, I was eating a meat dish and chatting animatedly when suddenly he became short of breath. Shortly after, he had lost consciousness and the people who were with him decided to notify the emergency services.

Once they verified that he was breathing again and that his heart was beating without help, they loaded him onto a stretcher and took him to the ambulance that was waiting in the street.
