At least two accidents were recorded on the Régis Bittencourt highway, in the cities of Embu das Artes and Barra do Turvo, this Monday, July 10, 2023.

Embu das Artes
A truck collided against a guard rail and ended up in an “L” position at km 277, close to Auto Posto km 23, in Embu das Artes. The incident was reported by the concessionaire at 18:51.
For the concessionaire’s teams to operate, the highway was completely blocked in both directions (Curitiba and SP). At 20:18, the concessionaire informed that the highway was reopened in both directions.
The operation of intercity bus lines 032, 033, 511, 551 was impaired.

A trailer loaded with cardboard rolls overturned at km 517.5, on the road towards Curitiba, in Cajati. The occurrence was reported by the concessionaire at 4:21 pm.
For the concessionaire’s teams to operate, the left lane was blocked. At 6:25 pm, the concessionaire informed that the lanes were completely blocked for removal of the truck. At 7:35 pm, the concessionaire informed that the lanes were released.
