The fifth Cocomar Cup karting race was held on Sunday at El Salado beach between 20 drivers from Havana, Mayabeque and Artemisa, in the piston port, TAG rotax and free categories, with better luck for those from Caimito and Bauta.
In port piston, the winners were Jorge Luis Díaz Silva, from Caimito; Pablo Raúl Nacianceno, from Havana and Deyvis Santiesteban, from Bauta. Meanwhile, in the TAG rotax the podium was taken by Yuseff Núñez, from Caimito; Ariel López, from Havana and Abel Valdés, from Caimito.
And in the free category, Pedro Pumariano and Yuseff Núñez from Havana dominated; the third place was occupied by Iván Díaz Izquierdo from Caimito.
The children Aarón Núñez and Esteban Camejo, aged five and eight, also participated in an emotional exhibition, according to Ángel Luis Amador Rivero, a recreation methodologist at the Caimito Sports Department.
