Chennai: Tamil Nadu Finance Minister PDR Palanivel Thiagarajan has protested against the increase of GST in the textile sector from 5% to 12% at the All State Finance Ministers’ Meeting.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman chaired a meeting of state finance ministers in Delhi. Various state finance ministers attended the meeting.

Representatives of the finance ministers on behalf of some states attended and consulted at the meeting.
