India vs South Africa: India beat South Africa in the first Test! Captain Rahul

The first Test between India and South Africa started on the 26th. India won the toss and elected to bat first in the first Test at Centurion.

Both the opening batsmen of the Indian team, Rahul and Mayank, batted well. Rahul, who scored a huge century, scored 123 runs. Mayank Agarwal, who scored a brilliant fifty, was dismissed for 60. Rahane scored 48 and the goalie scored 35. India scored 327 in the first innings.

Following this, the South Africans played the first innings and scored just 197 runs in the first innings. Temba Bauma top-scored for South Africa with 52 runs. He was the only one to score a fifty. All the other players were bowled out for a paltry 197 runs in the first innings.

India were all out for 174 in the second innings with a total of 304 runs in the second innings with a lead of 130 runs.

With India needed 6 wickets to win the final day’s match, Bumra gave South Africa’s captain Dean Elgar a 77 – run break. Siraj then bowled Quinton de Kok for 21, while Mohammad Shami knocked down Mulder and Jansen. South Africa lost 7 wickets at the end of the first season of the last day’s match.

The Indian bowlers took the last 3 wickets shortly after the start of the 2nd season. Shami dropped Johnson by 13 runs in the 2nd season. Ashwin then ended the match by knocking down both Rabada and Ingiti in successive balls. In the 2nd innings, South Africa were all out for 191, with India leading by 113 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the Test series.
