Have you continued to receive reports and complaints from viewers for this program?

-The themes of the programs arise from different situations. There are times when we have viewers who, through social networks and the production company, raise an issue that may be interesting to discuss and bring to light. Other times they arrive as part of the particular casuistry. It happened to me that I was in a restaurant one day and I received an email from a man offering me five-star reviews at a price, to publish it on the internet. I was surprised because I came across a marketplace where reviews were traded, which I thought was creepy.

And if you don’t accept those purchased reviews, does a restaurant owner risk having a campaign against it?

-I did not have the feeling or the fear that they would reply that if I did not say yes to those purchased reviews, they were going to fry me, but it is true that the first thing I received were prices for comments on the internet that were positive. This is very serious, because you can also harm others. The price that is handled in these cases can be even very cheap.

What instruments does the restaurant have to avoid being harmed by this situation?

-Virtually none. Those who have the tools and ways to settle all this are the large internet platforms, which manage the information. The rest of us can do little more. If you have an establishment and receive a review that you consider to be inappropriate, you can always report it to the platforms. Another thing is that they listen to you and take care of you.

It also addresses the menus of the day, what has worried you in this delivery?

-The reality is that the menus of the day, which arise as a possibility for workers to eat at a similar price anywhere in a healthy way, have become something very different. One of the things we asked ourselves was whether it is healthy to eat out every day with the menu of the day. Before it was a more homemade meal and now we see contrary situations. In the chapter on weddings, you warn that not all caterers comply with their legal obligations. Do you need more control?

-There are those who do not have the facilities, neither the preparation nor the knowledge nor the opportune means of transport. They shouldn’t be feeding anyone. They assure you that they guarantee the food for your wedding, that they make it at their house and bring it in their own car, and then you pay me, and everyone is so happy. It is no longer a matter of not doing it as you should, but that there are other companies that are making it cinematic, at a great human and economic cost and with their guarantees.

Do you get a lot of pressure with this program?

-In ‘Are you going to eat it?’ we always have two sides. We first show a complaint or call for attention and then we teach how things should be done to make it known that things can be fixed, and all this is not the worlds of Yupi. It is no longer a matter of going against the norm, but public health problems are generated, it is not a joke. We also value people who do their job well.

Your special for meals in residences was highly applauded. Have you received more complaints in this regard?

-I am not aware that the situation has changed in the residences that we visit thanks to our work. When people send you communications or a text asking us to visit that place, they do it because they are not satisfied with the residence. The one who is happy with how they treat his family, because he does not write to you. What I do know is that it was a kind of eye-opening and exclaiming: «But what is happening? Are we taking care of the elderly? Are we contributing the necessary resources so that things go better?». Bringing this issue to light and socially realizing that this should not continue like this, it seems to me that it is already an objective achieved and we are going for more.
