Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) 2022-2023 Academic Year Spring Semester Undergraduate and Associate Degree Graduation Ceremony was held. With the ceremony, Eastern Mediterranean University gave 1748 new graduates.
Eastern Mediterranean University Rector Prof. Dr. In his speech at the ceremony, Aykut Hodja stated that 1748 graduates would get their diplomas and start life. Congratulating all the graduates, Hocanın wished the graduates success in their lives.
Eastern Mediterranean University Board of Trustees Chairman Erdal Özcenk said, “Coming from all over the world to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, you have completed your education, I congratulate you all” and gave life advice to the graduates.
Turgay Avcı, Head of Higher Education Planning Supervision Accreditation Board, also stated that graduation is the beginning of a new journey. Emphasizing that Eastern Mediterranean University is one of the best universities in the region and the world, Avcı wished success to the graduates.
Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu started his speech by commemorating the Champion Angels. Emphasizing that the goal is to keep the Eastern Mediterranean University alive, Çavuşoğlu underlined that there should be a strong cooperation for this.
Zorlu Töre, President of the Assembly of the Republic, also wished the young graduates a successful graduation. In his speech, Töre also respectfully commemorated the Champion Angels and wished the young people success in their lives.
President Ersin Tatar congratulated all the graduates and stated that Eastern Mediterranean University had produced 75 thousand graduates in the last 40 years. Tatar gave life advice to graduates.
Stating the importance of lifelong education, Tatar wished the graduates to be useful individuals for their country.
After the speeches, undergraduate and associate degree graduates were awarded their diplomas.
