As of July 11, 2023, the Ministry of Public Health records 3,229,299 vaccinated boys and girls, which represents 86% of the child population. With the aim of continuing to vaccinate all minors between 1 and 12 years of age against polio, measles and rubella safely and free of charge, the vaccination campaign was extended until Monday, July 31.

The brigades of the nine Zonal Health Coordinations continue touring the country’s neighborhoods, and go from house to house to reach minors who have not yet received the vaccine.

In addition, vaccination points continue to operate in shopping malls, bus terminals, parks, and other places with a mass concentration of people. For more details about these brigades, you can visit the official accounts of the zonal Health coordinations.

Currently, the 1,978 first-level health establishments of the MSP have enough vaccines so that parents who have not yet immunized their children under 12 years of age do so immediately. It is important to remember that in these health establishments there is also a stock of vaccines of the regular scheme and against COVID-19.
