‘Sold’ is the title of the new highly anticipated Boomdabash album out today, Friday 14 July, on all digital platforms and in all physical stores for Soulmatical Music / Capitol Records Italy (Universal Music Italy) three years after the last studio albums. An important recording project, with the intention of fully expressing the double soul of the Salento group, between loaded and sparkling sounds, songs with a more intimate character, new collaborations and personal stylistic and evolutionary manifestos of one of the most appreciated and acclaimed Italian bands of the contemporary scene with over 3 billion total streams, 30 platinum records and more than 650 million views on YouTube.

“’Sold’ is the accusation they make to us most often since we set foot in the mainstream, we wanted to transform it into a strength and a message against haters: we are what we have always wanted to be – say the Boomdabash – The title suggests an album of radio hits only but it’s exactly the opposite, there’s a lot of reggae and a lot of dancehall, a lot of return to the style of the origins revisited and updated”.

13 tracks – 9 unreleased in addition to the already released singles Lambada feat. Paola & Chiara, The Only Thing You Want, Heaven feat. Eiffel 65 and Tropicana feat. Annalisa, for an intense journey into the variegated world of Biggie Bash (vocals), Payà (vocals), Dj Blazon and Mr. Ketra (beatmaker). Intro: Venduti opens the disc and explains its concept, followed by the punk, metal and dancehall brushstrokes of Smoking On The Lambo feat. Cham; Mare Nel Deserto is a declaration of love entirely dedicated to music, Fake Taxi feat. VillaBanks restores straight and explicit tones for a union between trap and Jamaican sound; Champion Sound is a return to the beginning, Graffiti feat. Emma once again demonstrates their ability to dress in new clothes; the Boomdabash retrace their artistic journey in Manifesto, and choose to tell in Sud feat. Al Bano the sensitivity of their beloved land; closes the disc Santorini, a lucid analysis of the evolution of dancehall from the 90s to 2023.

To anticipate the release of ‘Venduti’, in conjunction with the release of the single Lambada feat. Paola & Chiara, the Summer Tour 2023 – The Party Specialists has started, the big open-air party of the Salento band produced by Bpm Concerti and Trident Music. The desire to have fun and go wild is the passepartout with which the Boomdabash – exceptional party specialists – have conquered with great success and will conquer some of the most important festivals in Italy in the next few dates. Info and tickets are available on the BPM Concerti website.

In two dates of this summer tour, more precisely in Gallipoli on July 22nd and in Corigliano-Rossano (CN) on August 4th, Boomdabash will be guests on the Casa Surace stage for an initiative based on sustainability. In fact, the Campania factory will promote Alto Mare, a project dedicated to the protection of the oceans and whales conceived and developed by Save the Planet, an association that promotes sustainable initiatives throughout Italy and which is responsible for spreading the philosophy of good green practices. Elena Stoppioni, President of Save the Planet, declares: “It is a real honor for our association to have testimonials of the caliber of Boombadash and Casa Surace. In activities of this type, where dissemination is essential and where there is a need to reach as many people as possible, it becomes crucial to be able to count on the sensitivity of known and appreciated realities, especially by the youngest, i.e. the adults of tomorrow”.
