VALENCIA (EP). The Local Government Board of the Valencia City Council will approve this Friday the economic aid for the purchase of school supplies for students enrolled in the second cycle of early childhood education in publicly owned schools and in subsidized centers in the city of Valencia. The item amounts to 220,913.46 euros.
Included in this line of aid are schools owned by the Generalitat Valenciana, the Provincial Council and the Valencia City Council, as well as private centers with a concert for the provision of services in second cycle early childhood education. In total, 2,479 aids of the 3,621 that had been requested will be granted. The 1,142 applications not granted did not meet the requested requirements or did not provide the required documentation.
Each beneficiary will receive a maximum of 100 euros for the purchase of school supplies. Among the material that is the object of the subsidy is the computer equipment and the stationery material necessary for the performance of the studies in the different schools of the city, details the consistory in a statement.
In order to apply for aid for the acquisition of school supplies, the beneficiaries must meet the requirement of being registered in the municipal area of Valencia and have a minor son or daughter enrolled in the second cycle of early childhood education in an educational center of the city.
