Nowadays, the arroba of grass is bought for 15 dollars or more, the price of sugar is rising, eggs have gone up, the price of the red onion is ‘through the clouds’, the price of tree tomato and meat has risen, what else will rise? and above all, who controls the prices of basic necessities?
Now it is not only scary to go out on the street because of insecurity, now it is also scary to go to the market and not precisely because it is unsafe; But who controls the prices of the products, the fear is based on the fact that what I carry in my pocket will advance for something.
I do not want to imagine that the big merchants are speculating thinking about “making a killing” in the following months.
It is not fair that, regarding the El Niño phenomenon, they plot to line their pockets.
Where are the control authorities? In order for them to compare the established prices and above all to sanction, it cannot be that we live in the “land of Pepito”, where they do whatever they want.
Field work is urgently needed in which it is noted that the people are at least listened to and somewhat protected from abuses.
