Yesterday, Oliver Trelenberg received the proud sum of 2222 euros from Mayor Michael Galander. The man is no longer unknown in Anklam. He has been cycling several thousand kilometers across Germany every year since 2015 to collect donations that ultimately benefit sick children in particular. He has also stopped at the Peene a few times.

This year, Oliver Trelenberg wants to support the non-profit organization “Wünschdirwas” with his “Oli radelt” project. For several years, the association has also been offering the families of the children affected a free stay in a holiday home on the North Sea, reported Oliver Trelenberg during his recent visit to Anklam.

This year he wants to cycle a distance of over 4000 kilometers within 75 days and collect donations on a total of 71 stages. The sum on the check, which he was able to take with him from Anklam, came together thanks to the support of the Rotary Club Anklam, the Lions Club Anklam and the companies ATS Anklamer Tief- und Straßenbau, Tiefbau Sommerfeld GmbH, UPR Kai Höpfner, Ingenieurbüro Neuhaus und Partner GmbH, the GWA and the city of Anklam.
