The conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart Joe Biden may talk about “checking the clock” before negotiations on security guarantees. This was announced to RIA Novosti by the first deputy head of the international committee of the Federation Council Vladimir Dzhabarov.
The fact that a second conversation between the leaders of the two countries took place over the past month suggests that Washington has taken Russian proposals on security guarantees very seriously, Dzhabarov noted. In his opinion, in the course of the current conversation between Putin and Biden, “there could have been a question of checking the clocks, clarifying the positions of the parties, so that the delegations have specific instructions from their leaders.”
The senator also noted that Western politicians of the second plan commented on the talks between the presidents of the Russian Federation and the United States, but Biden himself and those responsible for the dialogue, as a rule, avoided sensitive topics. Among them are France, Germany, England. “The countries that do not decide anything, but are puffed up, or as the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, they said a lot that their interests should be taken into account, that Russia should not interfere with the promotion of NATO,” Jabarov said.
