Ana Mena closes the VALLVIVA festival in front of an audience of more than 2,500 people

He VALLVIVA festival successfully closed its third edition this Saturday. The final colophon of the fourth and last night of the contest was put by the singer Ana Mena, considered one of the most important female artists of the new Spanish music scene and who offered the show Bellodrama Tour, in addition to some of the songs like ‘A un paso de la luna’ or ‘Música ligera’ in front of an audience of more than 2,500 people that sold out the festival’s tickets for the second night in a row. Previously, the singer-songwriter Ramon Mirabet he presented his new album ‘Free’ and the day was closed by the garrotxina Núria López and the DJ Ernest Codina. The event has also committed to offering experiences linked to gastronomy and km0 products.

The VALLVIVA Foundation will donate its profits to two oncology research projects of the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR) and the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO). The VHIR project studies how cells communicate so that tumors are very aggressive and resistant to therapies and find new targets. For its part, the VHIO project is focused on finding biomarkers that help predict the response to the two main treatments available in pancreatic cancer in order to offer more personalized and effective therapies.

In the last edition, VALLVIVA managed to raise a total of 60,000 euros which went to the Albert Bosch Foundation, the Juan Carlos Unzué ALS research project, the Oncolliga Girona Foundation and the Nzuri Daima Foundation. And in the first edition, more than 25,000 euros were raised for the children’s oncology plant at the Hospital de la Vall d’Hebron, through a project of the Albert Bosch Foundation.
