Samsung is set to unveil its highly anticipated Galaxy Watch 6 series next week, but details about the smartwatches have already been leaked. Through 3D CAD-based renders and official product shots, the design of the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic has been revealed. Now, new information about the sizes and variants of the upcoming smartwatches has emerged.
A leaked poster, shared by Samsung’s official partner BullsLab Jay, showcases the sizes and connectivity options for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. The Galaxy Watch 6 will be available in 40mm and 44mm sizes, while the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will come in 43mm and 47mm sizes. Furthermore, both models will be offered in Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi + Cellular (LTE) variants.
The leaked image also reveals that Samsung will be offering KRW 10,000 worth of gifts to customers who purchase any of the upcoming smartwatches in South Korea. Additionally, the poster mentions July 27 as the official announcement date for the Galaxy Watch 6 series, creating further excitement among tech enthusiasts.
In terms of specifications, the Galaxy Watch 6 is rumored to share a similar design with the Galaxy Watch 4 series. On the other hand, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will feature a physical rotating bezel, reminiscent of the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. Both smartwatches will reportedly boast circular OLED screens that are 20% larger than those on the Galaxy Watch 5. Additionally, they will be equipped with an enhanced processor, the Exynos W930, which operates at a slightly higher clock speed.
Reports suggest that the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The 40mm Galaxy Watch 6 and 43mm Galaxy Watch 6 Classic are expected to house a 300mAh battery, while the larger 44mm Galaxy Watch 6 and 47mm Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will be powered by a 425mAh battery.
