Will the shortage of iPhones get worse? Apple has closed its own plant

A huge factory of the iPhone maker has closed in recent days, after significant deficiencies were discovered in the living conditions of the workers, the Indian and American media reported in the last day.

Foxconn’s huge factory, or in its full name the island’s precision industry, is located in the state of Tamil Nadu in southern India, employs about 17,000 people and mainly produces devices for the iPhone maker, Apple. Steady workers’ protests have taken place there recently, after hundreds of factory workers were poisoned by food workers last week, and no less than 100 of them were hospitalized in the area.
