Pushpa, which hit theaters on December 17, was the highest grossing film of 2021. The film was released in five languages including Malayalam and Tamil.
Now, Allu Arjun has announced that the second part of the film ‘Pushpa- The Rule’ will be released in as many languages as possible.
“I plan to release Pushpa 2 in all possible languages. Pushpa will reach out to you in more languages than any other film in India before,” Allu said.
The film has grossed Rs 116 crore in just two days of its release and has so far collected Rs 275 crore. He also said that the film will fetch Rs 325-350 crore by January 6 itself.
From the very first day of its release, ‘Pushpa’ holds the record for the largest opening grosser in India after Kovid. Pushpa broke the record of the master and spiderman who got the biggest opening this year.
Pushpa Theaters also performed well during the clash with ‘Spiderman No Way’ Home, which was a huge hype around the world. Though it was released in a limited number of theaters across North India, Pushpa grossed over Rs 3.5 crore in a single day.
The first part of the two-part film is titled ‘Pushpa: The Rice’. Allu Arjun arrives as Pushparaja, a blood sandalwood smuggler.
Allu Pushpa played an unprecedented look and mannerisms. The film was produced at a cost of Rs 250 crore.
Under the banner of Pushpa Maithri Movie Makers and Muttamsetti Media directed by Sukumar, Naveen Yerneni and Y. It was co-produced by Ravi Shankar. Fahadh Faasil will play the lead role of the main villain in the movie.
