Ecuador will be represented by 12 athletes in four specialties during the UCI Cycling World Championship to be held between August 3 and 13 in Glasgow, Scotlandas reported by the Ecuadorian Cycling Federation (FEC).
In the specialty of road cycling in the elite men’s categorythe great absentee will be Richard Carapaz, after his premature departure from the Tour de France, due to a fall in the first stage.
