“Minx”: a naughty and gently political comedy

Discreetly broadcast on OCS since 2022, Minx doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. But since the American screenwriters, and now the actors, are on strike and the flood of new releases is bound to dry up, it would be a shame not to take advantage of the imminent arrival of the second season to catch up on this naughty and tasty comedy on the difficult development of pornography aimed at the female public in the 1970s. Created by the radical activist Joyce Prigger (Ophelia Lovibond), the erotic magazine Minx, and its famous portfolio of naked men, is looking at the start of this second season for a new investor. Tired of the antics and latent machismo of her boss, Doug (Jake Johnson), Joyce finds an ally in a wealthy heiress to make Minx the feminist Trojan horse she always dreamed of.
